- Badi: The app to find rooms and flatmates, ideal if you arrive alone.
- Spotahome: Verified homes and rooms, bookable online even from abroad, for stays of 1 to 11 months.
- HousingAnywhere: Homes and rooms for your first period, bookable before you arrive.
How to avoid scams
- Never pay before you have seen the home or signed.
- Be wary of prices that are too low.
- Be wary of an owner “abroad” who asks for bank transfers.
- Check that the person renting is the real owner: you can ask for a “nota simple” from the Registro de la Propiedad. How it works.
- Do not send copies of your documents without a reason.
- Pay with traceable methods and keep every receipt.
